One by one or a ZIP?
For a few photos, save them one by one: each goes straight to your Downloads and, on most phones, into the gallery. For a whole album, the ZIP is one tap instead of dozens, and keeps the album's photos together in one folder once it's opened.
Opening a ZIP on a phone
- iPhone and iPad: the ZIP goes to the Files app, under Downloads. Tap it once and it unpacks into a folder. To put photos into the Photos app, open the folder, tap Select, choose the photos, then Share and Save Images.
- Android: open the ZIP in the Files app (Files by Google, or your phone's own) and choose Extract. The photos then show up in your gallery, in a folder of their own.
- Computer: double-click the ZIP; Windows and macOS open it without any extra program.
